Something For The Weekend

It’s the first weekend of December which means we’re officially getting all of the festive feels here at The Style Life HQ – even Antonia, who is a December baby and usually has a strict no-Santa rule until after her birthday has been caught humming along to Mariah and eating mince pies this year! But enought about us – without further ado, let’s delve into our top finds this week.

Light it up

One thing we love about winter here at The Style Life? The joy of lighting a new beautiful scented candle. Miller Harris have launched six scents with a bold, modern colour block look. The new, larger size of 220g also means that each candle now has an extended burn time of up to 50 hours. Our favourite? Santal, with notes of Sandalwood, Pink Pepper and Olibanum, the woody and warm aroma also has notes of amber and moss, making it the perfect wintery addition to your mantelpiece.

Drink up

We love themed cocktails here at The Style Life, as you’ve probably seen with our fortnightly collaboration with Kat’s Cocktail Bar. If you’re planning some Christmas cocktails this weekend, pick up a bottle of Mozart chocolate liqueur for a sweet boozy treat. Available in four classic flavours – cream, white chocolate, dark chocolate and coffee – it’s a great way to get into some festive spirit into you – literally!

Available at Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Amazon

Wrap up

This Levi’s snuggly Sherpa jacket is perfect for milder days this winter or for layering under oversized coats for an added layer. We consider the leopard trim on this style a fashion bonus too, £75

Order’s Up!

Forget Turkey – this Christmas we’re swapping dried out poultry for succulent burgers instead. Check out Patty & Bun’s limited-edition burger, Cheesus was Born. Available for all of December, it features an Aged HG Walter Beef Patty, Ogleshield Cheese, Beef Brisket, Edam Cheese, Bone Marrow Butter, Pickles and Aioli – all for £12.

Glitz It Up

Still looking for some sparkle that you can wear year-round and that doesn’t seem too Christmassy? H&M’s latest glittery drop is all monochrome – We love this two-toned sequin dress. With more than just a hint of Cruella vibes, this dress is crying out for a red lip and high patent heels. The wrap over style with knot detail is super flattering and it’s also available in the retailer’s H&M+ range.
