Jimmy Choo launches swimwear

Accessories extraordinaires Jimmy Choo have launched their first swimwear line. Like many brands, filled with optimism as we enter what we all hope is the first phase of the post pandemic period, Jimmy Choo’s first swimwear line is full of the fun and rainbow enthusiasm that we all need right now.

While of course many of us aren’t quite sure when are next beach holiday might be, there is nothing to stop us sunbathing on terraces, in gardens or local seasides this summer, so operation swimwear is, as far as we’re concerned, full steam ahead. And with the chances of an exotic holiday this season filed firmly under, ‘unlikely’, we’re considering using that extra cash to seriously treat ourselves.

The collection is a tight edit of pastel, ice cream hued pieces, with a tie dye finish. Several of the items feature the brand’s JC logo emblem, with this kind of print detailing remaining a key trend. There are two branded swimsuits and a couple of bikinis that feature two different tops and two styles of bikini briefs, sold separately, that can be mixed and matched. Each piece in the collection is named, although thoroughly interchangeable. Available up to a size 16, bikini separates start from £175, with swimsuits priced at £375.

Of course while the edit on swimwear is tight and cohesive, you won’t be surprised to hear that the brand has thought your entire look through with copious amounts of coordinating accessories to help you finish off the look.

From matching handbags, sliders, bucket hats, bumbags and colour coordinating sunglasses, you can really have the ultimate paired-up beach look this season. And while you might not be feeling the swimwear collection, you can buy into the look through the accessories as stand alone seasonal pieces, that with their light and optimistic colouring will work easily every summer.
