Ten armchairs we’re pinning right now for our dream living room

Accent armchairs have become the must-have piece of homeware in recent months. With all of us spending a lot more time indoors than in previous winters, having the perfect sitting spot, whether that’s for reading a book or curling up and watching TV, has fast become a top priority.

Making our living spaces more beautiful is a great source of joy here at The Style Life HQ and we really love pinning away, collating our favourite styles to inspire us as soon as a home renovation opportunity arises. We’ve noticed the increasing popularity of having an accent or a statement chair to compliment your sofa set up and we are very much here for it.

The birth of fashion forward homeware brands such as Loaf and MADE.com have really helped to rejuvenate the homeware market and we’re seeing style conscious consumers treat their interiors much like their wardrobes, updating with the latest trends and really keeping an eye on those standout pieces.

Of course designer homeware can cost a small fortune, but the obsession with their luxe fabrications, bold premium colour choices and vintage stylings has also spawned lots of collections on the high street that have drawn similar inspiration to help you get that aspirational look, without breaking the bank.

While it’s clear from the below shopping that when it comes to armchairs, we certainly have a ‘type’, comfort of course is still key. We’re still crushing after wide and deep bucket style seating that we can really sink into. If a chair simply just looks pretty, you’re not going to want to enjoy it and your living space should give you plenty of pleasure, especially when we see so much of it right now.

Most of the chairs we have found come in a multitude of colours and some with a choice of fabrications, so if you like a shape or style, click through to find similar styles.

We’re obsessed with these scallop edged accent chairs. While they look like designer pieces, they’re actually £100 each! These stylish chairs come in six different colourways, so you’re bound to find something to suit your room.
