Looking for a little pick-me-up this January? This week we’ve rummaged through the virtual sale rails to bring you the most stylish bargains from our favourite retailers from fashion, beauty and home.
This article contains affiliate links, we may receive a commission on any sales we generate from it.
ASOS
Our favourite online retailer currently has up to 80% off in their January sale, making it a great place to pick up a bargain. However, that doesn’t mean that you need to buy buy buy willy-nilly. Remember to think carefully about what you’re buying, how it will slot into your current wardrobe and what you’ll wear it with it.
This leopard print midi dress is a modern classic style that will work all year round – it can be worn over a thin black polo neck, chunky-soled boots and a leather jacket now, with simple black heels for an occasion and with strappy sandals when the weather warms up. Sold.
Benefit

If you’re planning an exciting holiday this year, now is a great time to stock up on makeup minis to save on your liquid allowance. Benefit’s gift sets are a great way to save. The Merry Mini Christmas set contains three popular products in tiny sizes – Dandelion brightening face powder, Gimme Brow brow volumising gel and POREfessional primer. Worth £40, you can now pick up this set for £13.07. Now, THAT’S a benefit!
Cowshed
With temperatures outside decidedly chilly, there’s nothing we love more than a boujee bath right now. Cowshed’s Relax bath duo set is now half price and features both a bath/shower gel and nourishing body lotion for only £17.50.
Dune London
If you ask Antonia what her best January sales purchases are, she will probably tell you about the two pairs of shearling-lined Birkenstocks (or Furkenstocks as they’re lovingly nicknamed) that she’s scored over the years.
While the Birks might not be on sale this year, we’ve tracked down these doppelgangers from Dune London. Reduced from £70 to £22, these are perfect for pottering at home or – as Antonia will once again swear blind – great for winter pedicure trips.
Elemis
Looking to finally get into a good skin routine? Elemis’ Superfood Nourish and Glow collection is the perfect set to pick up.
Worth £112 and featuring three full size products, the Superfood Collection is now only £55.30.
French Connection Home
Floors cold underfoot? Then now is the time to snap up French Connection Home’s cult Poppy field rug, reduced from £95 to £50.
As well as the classic pink design, it’s also available in blue and grey in the sale too.
Ghost London
We’re big fans of Ghost at The Style Life and with up to 60% off, now is the time to add one of their timeless designs to your wardrobe.
We love this ditsy green Lacey dress, reduced from £149 to only £60.
H&M Home
Whether you’re in the mood for a spring clean or simply looking for a stylish storage solution, this rattan basket is a great addition to every home.
Ideal for gathering up errant bits and bobs, it’s now only £20!
Isabel Marant
If you’re looking to splurge on something designer, the January sales can be a great time to get your hands on a designer piece that would otherwise be out of reach. To make sure you get more bang for your buck, look for timeless styles that won’t date and that you’ll get plenty of wear out of such as trench coats, well made boots or a beautiful shirt.
This Isabel Marant wool blend check shirt is a piece that can live in your wardrobe year-round. Wear as a shirt in the winter with black jeans and as a light cover up on chilly summer evenings.
John Lewis
The John Lewis sale often has great offers and this year is no different. With final reductions now on site and in-store, you can hunt out some great bargains such as this Apple Series 6 Watch reduced to £279.
If you’re more into the sofa than the gym this January, these gorgeous swan print PJs might be more up your street and the good news is they’re now only £27.
Kurt Geiger
Looking for a smart new leather handbag to join your collection? Then the sales are a great time to invest in a classic cross-body bag. While it’s tempting to buy cheap bags, they can wear out quickly, meaning they need replacing more often and ultimately can end up costing you more.
This chic Shoreditch bag from Kurt Geiger is a timeless style – the smooth conker brown leather will work with a multitude of outfits for both work and weekends AND it’s 50% off!
L.K. Bennett
We have a soft spot for L.K. Bennett at The Style Life (have you seen their new bridal collection?!) and while their collections may come in at the more expensive end of our wardrobes, the grown up classic styles are the ideal example of investment pieces to purchase in the sales.
This grey checked wool pea coat is one that you’ll wear year after year and it’s now reduced from £399 to £199. While many people wonder whether it’s worth buying a coat in the January sales, we’d like to remind our British readers that it’ll be cold for at least another three months so there’s plenty of time to wear your new purchase and smugly remark ‘oh this? Picked it up in L.K. Bennett in the sale, SUCH a bargain!‘
MADE.com
When you think about how much time you actually spend in bed, buying good quality bed sheets makes total sense – even if your bank balance might disagree! However, MADE.com’s clearance has several stylish sets.
Create a cosy haven in your bedroom with this chalk pink linen/cotton blend Tira set, reduced from £79 to £45.
