Winter coat season is almost upon us. Don’t be fooled by those sunny skies, winter is most definitely on its way. The skies maybe shining bright and crystal clear but that only helps to usher in the winter chill that little bit faster. If like me, you’ve so far managed to resist putting on a winter coat, I’l be honest, I don’t know how long we still have left. The time to back away your autumn trench is fast approaching and it’s time to make sure your winter outerwear is looking tip top. Winter coats often come with big price tags, but a good coat is certainly an investment item and in the long run will hopefully last you more than a couple of seasons. If you’re in the market for a new coat, then you’re in luck, as over the weekend, Phase Eight are offering up to £100 off a large selection of their winter ready coats. From longline quilted black coats and black aviator jackets to khaki padded coats and beautiful trench coat silhouettes, there is something for every taste during this great offer. Here are the six coats from Phase Eight that we’re loving right now, all with up to £100 off.

The military trend always seeps back into play for Autumn/Winter and this season is no different. This stunning wool trench coat has £100 off right now and as it is wool it will certainly keep you not just warm but super stylish too. Extremely versatile it will sharpen up your weekend denim look in an instant and be just as smart and ready for action when you head back to the office.
PRACTICAL BUT PERFECT
Say it with me… “It’s ok to be practical”. I really hate the concept that great clothes can’t be practical. There is nothing more joy inducing than finding a stylish item that also ticks all the boxes. This longline black quilted coat, with waist defining belt and faux fur trimmed hood will be your favourite winter piece. Again the styling on this coat is great for casual jaunts at the weekend, walking the dog or racing round the park, but this black winter coat will still be great for the school run, the office and the tube during the week. I particularly like the side vent poppers so you can have a bit of added movement when needed.
The rise of the puffer coat has yet to wain and we really are quite pleased about that. Antonia and I are both big puffer coat fans. Super cosy and currently very much on-trend, the funnel neck style is a great one for keeping out those icy blasts. This slightly shorter length looks lovely with dresses, skirts or jeans and this mink colourway is really rather sophisticated.
The teddy coat is another winter constant and in this lovely neutral hue this is a coat that will not date. The teddy coat already gives a nod to vintage seventies styling and this longline throw-on style is great for snuggling up in over the next few months.
This is one of my absolute favourite styles. The faux fur trim just makes this jacket look so luxurious and the exposed hardware adds an edge to the execution of this look. A similar style in Zara a couple of years ago absolutely flew off the shelf, so if you missed out on that one or your one needs an update, this is a great option. I also think aviator jackets translate well into spring and autumn too and look fabulous over midi dresses.
The softer version of the puffer, quilting this season is big news. This quilted green longline coat is perfect for those who find the bulk on a puffer just a little too much but want the added warmth and benefit of quilting. Again adding bulk through puffers or quilting can be overwhelming but the self-tie fabric belt ensures you can highlight your shape and not get lost under the fabric. You can also swap the fabric belt out for a stylish wide leather belt for an instant and easy way to customise the look.
Happy shopping and don’t wait around, these offers won’t wait around for long.
