Erica Davies is one of the early adopters of influencer life and we must say, it really suits her. The former journalist switched her hand to blogging and building her social media presence right at the start of Instagram and has clocked up around 179k followers on the micro blogging platform.
As a former fashion editor, Erica has a brilliant eye for silhouettes, styles and how to put them together and as a professional, working mum, she understands the desire of women everywhere to look fashionable but not too complicated. Clothes should work for the wearer and not the other way around right?
Erica’s style is a little bit of everything. A touch bohemian, slightly tailored, chic and feminine, even I have found myself severely influenced by her Instagram outfit snaps as I’ve casually added some of her looks to my basket. Erica makes fashion both fun and accessible, which is the reason we suspect she’s so successful.
Now, to top it all off, Erica has launched a boot edit with none other than John Lewis and Partners. And of course Erica has focused on accessibility and fixing a shopping problem for women (what a gem) – calf widths.

Like many women all over the world, Erica has noted that when it comes to calf widths, one size, does not fit all and rather than just creating a collection of boots, Erica’s boots aim to tackle this issue.
As we head into winter and firmly lob our sandals to the back of the wardrobe, finding a pair of boots that fit your calves can be a nightmare. A pair of knee-high boots is perfect for wet and windy weather, particularly as they can be worn with a multitude of looks. Good boots are ALWAYS a good investment. And Erica’s boots really are just that.
Soft and buttery, Erica has created a tick list of winter styles. Leather, suede, fitted and slouchy, there is something for everyone in this 10 piece boot edit.
Erica’s collection is available now (be quick, they’re already selling out) and while there are two stylish ankle boots in the collection, the rest are knee high boots that feature wider calf fits and utilise elastic panelling to offer better stretch and fit for those who need a little bit more room to manoeuvre.
Under the product details of each boot there is detailed instruction on the calf measurement for each size and how to work out your needs.
The boots, as we expected are super sleek, classic, timeless styles that you can wear year after year. Priced at around £145 or less, it’s great to see a knee high boot from a quality brand like John Lewis & Partners at such a good price point.
Erica who proclaims ‘leopard is a neutral’ on her Instagram account of course features plenty of animal print within the collection. Both cheetah and zebra prints make a bold appearance alongside block colour boots in burgundy and a gorgeous inky blue.
With flatforms still popular, Erica has given a nod to the chunky sole with a cream and black, thick platformed boot, with a more timeless version in black.
Again showing her strengths for understanding wearability, the collection features everything from flat, to block and slim low heels, so whatever your preference, John Lewis & Partners x Erica Davies has a boot for you.
A brilliant, wearable collection that you’ll love to wear again and again.
(And yes of course, I’ve bought a pair… keep a close eye on our Instagram and I’ll let you know how I get on).
