Something For The Weekend: The Style Life List

This week, we might not have something old but we do have something borrowed and something blue.

This week has FLOWN by for the team at The Style Life. Yesterday was very exciting as Co-Founder Rivkie tied the knot to her now-husband Dan – there were tears, laughter and lots of dancing on a beautiful day but I’ll leave that to Rivkie to share another time. For now, it’s time to celebrate the fact we’ve made it through another week with Something For The Weekend.

Feeling Totally Tropical

Add a spot of sunshine to your living room with Desenio’s Tropical Paradise collection – we love this affordable art website as it allows you to spruce up your space with new posters and prints for a fraction of the price.

This palm print starts from just £8.95

Something Borrowed

L.K. Bennett is revolutionising the way we stock our wardrobes. The brand has launched LK Borrowed, a monthly subscription service that allows members to borrow up to 16 of the brand’s most popular pieces. For £79 a month, not only can you borrow luxury pieces for a fraction of their retail price but it also means there’ll always be something brand new hanging in your wardrobe. How’s that for cost per wear?

Rent this dress and up to 15 additional items for £79 a month from LK Borrowed

Life’s a beach

Heading to sandy shores? Make sure you look stylish on the sand with these cool geometric print towels from retro queen Orla Kiely, £60 for two at John Lewis

New brand alert!

We’re suckers for a cool slider and we’re loving cool new brand Inuikii – they’re launching in Selfridges next month but for now we’re slipping these green and natural raffia sliders into our virtual shopping basket, £230.

Big Cat Energy

We love this leopard sleeveless padded shoulder tee from All Saints, £49. Just add black jeans and attitude for the perfect nonchalant rock chick look.

In The Pink

We love this pretty pink ditsy floral wrap dress, new in at Per Una at Marks & Spencer – made of a slightly heavier viscose, it’s the ideal late summer frock. Team with sandals now then swap to  ankle boots and a leather jacket come September, £45

And finally…

Something blue

Looking for the perfect summer jacket? It doesn’t get more classic than a denim jacket. We love this indigo wash version from sustainable fashion brand Baukjen, now £111. Throw it over dresses on cooler days and it will also look great layered underneath lightweight coats in Autumn.
