Seven beautiful items we’re loving this week and better yet, none of them are full price!
This week our heads are firmly in sale mode. After a tricky shopping season, it’s no surprise that the stores have plenty to offer in terms of wonderful discounted merchandise, ready for shoppers to enjoy a summer of treats. Across the board there are some great bargains to be had, so whatever you’ve been holding out for this season, now might be the perfect moment to invest.
We’ve scoured the high street for a few of our favourite sale purchases for this week’s Something for the Weekend, so you can spoil yourself while avoiding full price!

We love this Sophie Conran set, in fact Rivkie (and Dan) just received the matching salad bowl from a very kind wedding guest and of course now she’s eyeing up the dining set to match and at 30% off, this smart set is the perfect look for future dinner parties.
We’ve all been in sweats for so long, it’s hard to remember how glorious summer dresses feel! While the weather can only be described as ‘changeable’ right now, the sales are a great way of injecting your wardrobe with a little new season cheer without feeling like you’ve gone overboard, especially good if you’re watching the pennies.
Take a seat
Made.com is one to keep a serious eye on right now. Not only have they gone into sale, but they also are running a series of flash offers on various categories. These beautiful walnut chairs are great for adding a bit of a deco feel and the matching extendable table is divine too.
Can you tell we have homeware on the mind? With both founders of The Style Life setting up new abodes this year, we can often be found sharing links to the latest deals and homeware items we love. Obviously KitchenAid is a brilliant make and this retro pistachio hue is sure to add a vintage twist to any kitchen.
You know TSL is a little bit leopard print crazy, so when we saw this Simply Be dress reduced down to just £8.70, we knew we had to let you all know. With sizes still available from 12-32, it really is an absolute bargain and can certainly be worn in the cooler months with tights, boots and a chunky cardigan.
We definitely have an unhealthy obsession with sunglasses here over at TSL, but what can you do, it’s one of our biggest fashion vices and we’ve learned to embrace our flaws. Rivkie in particular finds resisting Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses fairly difficult and these oversized, secret inner print shades, with the classic Dolce & Gabbana silhouette are right on the money. Great for those that like discreet sunnies with a little flare.
Much like with dresses, we’ve not really invested heavily into our shoe updates this year… unless it’s been slippers and we’re not quite sure we’re ready to scrap all the comfort clothing and accessories that lockdown brought. So if like us, you’re still very much here for the flats and trainers, these slip-on casual shoes with on-trend metal stud detailing are the perfect way to add a little touch of sparkle without getting too dressy.
