Something for the weekend: The Style Life List

We’re back! Outdoor dining is back, seeing friends is back. While we know the world is still a little topsy turvy and full normality is still just out of reach, we’re thrilled that lots of businesses can now reopen their doors and many who may have felt isolated over the last few months can have the opportunity to socialise and see friends once again. Of course we aren’t quite indoors yet, so its beer gardens at the tail end of winter or dinner at restaurants with outdoor seating, but right now we’ll happily take the slices of normality that we can get, especially if that slice comes with a coffeeshop attached.

So to celebrate the return to socialising, we’ve created a little ‘we’re back’ something for the weekend list this Friday. From cosy coats and blankets to keep you warm whilst you’re drinking, to outfit ideas for a return to a restaurant, we’re here to help you ease back into life. Here’s seven things you need for that big return.

Wrap Up

Beer gardens are back. Woohoo! But, it’s also April so it’s going to be pretty cold for sometime. Invest in a blanket that you can take with as an extra layer or wrap one your lap to beat the chill.

Toasty Tootsies

Slide into some cashmere bed socks to ensure your toes don’t turn to ice when you’e sat outside. Nothing ruins a meet up with friends in a beer garden or on a restaurant terrace than ice cold feet.

Jeans are back

We’ve had a good run but it’s time to fold away the sweatpants and slide back into denim. There’s no better way to celebrate a return to socialising than with new jeans. So treat yourself to a pair of sustainably made Everlane jeans. Everlane’s denim factory partner recycles 98% of their water using reverse osmosis filtration and keeps byproducts out of the environment by mixing them with concrete to create building materials, so your shopping habit isn’t all bad!

Coats On

Let’s be realistic, it’s gonna be wet and cold outside right now but thankfully seeing friends and going out again is anything but miserable. The key to outdoor drinking and dining is layers and a great coat is a must. This insulated parka will look great and keep you snug.

Fingerless Gloves

You’re going to still want to be able to use your phone and get a good grip on your glass, so opt for for fingerless gloves that offer versatility when dining in the outdoors.

Keep Cool

The idea is simple but we love it. We’ve all got used to carrying around our water bottles, so why not an insulated wine bottle? This set comes with matching tumblers to make evenings in the park drinking with pals that little bit more stylish.

Picnic Blanket

If you’re swapping pub gardens for park picnics then make sure to get yourself a proper picnic rug. Featuring a durable and waterproof bottom, topped with soft and cosy wool and chic fringe detailing, dining out on the grass has never looked so good. The grey and yellow is super striking and and the roll up, with buckle feature and carrying handle makes this functional and fashionable too.
